Programs
Practices will begin the week of 8/17; games will begin 9/2. Ages 7-10, $35/player ($50/player after 7/15). Registration ends Wednesday, July 29th. 1st year players aging out of T-ball and players that opt to play Fall Baseball at the end of the Softball season are eligible to receive a $10 discount; contact chorrigan@farmvillenc.gov for details. Fee waivers and discounts are available for those needing financial assistance; loaner equipment available.

Dates are tentative and subject to change. All leagues are tentative and subject to player minimums, 2-teams per sport/age-division.
Glove, face shield, helmet, water and sunscreen are essential for all players. Players receive a certificate of recognition at the season's end; medals are not provided.
Volunteer coaches are crucial, without them there is no softball season. Coaches receive a $25 credit for future Department programming (e.g., camps, leagues) at the end of the season, and an additional $25 credit if they complete National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) training paid for by the Department. Background checks are conducted; interested coaches should reach out to staff for more details.
