Youth basketball offers an exciting and dynamic environment for young athletes to develop physical fitness, improve teamwork skills, and learn the fundamentals of the sport. Stay active this winter and experience the thrill of the game. Register for youth basketball today!

Practices will be held at the Boys and Girls Club the week of 12/14; games will begin the week of 1/9 and be held at FMS/FCHS. Games will be held on Saturdays mornings; dates for playoffs and championship games TBD. Ages 7-8; $50/player ($60/player after 11/11); fees include gym access (i.e. no entrance fees). Registration ends Wednesday, November 25th. Fee waivers and discounts are available for those needing financial assistance.

Note:

Note: There is no evaluation for 5-6 year old players; players in older division (7-16) do not need to attend both evaluation sessions, only one or the other. Dates are tentative and subject to change. All leagues are tentative and subject to player minimums, 2-teams per sport/age-division.

Proper footwear and water are essential for all players. Players receive a certificate of recognition at the season's end; medals are not provided.

Volunteer coaches are crucial; without them there is no soccer season. Coaches receive a $25 credit for future Department programming (e.g., camps, leagues) at the end of the season, and an additional $25 credit if they complete National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) training paid for by the department. Background checks are conducted; interested coaches should reach out to staff for more details. No prior experience required; training aids provided.
